There will be another Community Conversation meeting to review the proposed attendance boundary map on Monday, January 13, from 5-7 p.m., at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 900 Normal Road, DeKalb.
Work to determine new attendance boundaries to accommodate the opening of a new elementary school, maintain neighborhood schools, minimize busing as much as possible, and reduce classroom sizes district-wide began in January 2024 and culminated with new attendance meetings open to all district residents in November and December.
A light dinner will be served beginning at 5 p.m. while supplies last, and the main agenda will begin at approximately 6 p.m.
